Fleks aims to help flexibility providers perform prequalification testing more efficiently. We are introducing methods for documenting frequency control properties of power plants with minimal interruption to normal operation.

As the power and energy systems evolve towards larger and more rapid imbalances, flexibility and technical ability gain attention from the Transmission System Operators. Requirements for testing are therefore also evolving, gaining complexity and demanding more from the flexibility providers.
Our core competence is turning operational data into useful knowledge. This, in combination with strong domain knowledge, enables us to deliver services aimed to simplify your path to compliance. Initial focus is on the hydro power based Norwegian and Nordic markets. Our ambition is to develop a methodology that renders 80-90% of the Nordic test program obsolete, all but FCR-D Up/Down performance ramp tests. We believe our methodology can serve as a full alternative to the TSO required tests, and will seek approval for this once we have validated the solution.
The services will initially be provided as a consulting service - we analyse the data for you. A digital product that let's customers perform their own analyses will be launched at an appropriate time. Fleks plan to grow organically, and other asset types and markets will be implemented continuously.
